WINDOW REPAIRS
Glass, hardware and operation
Insulating glass units (IGUs)
Fog or moisture between panes may indicate seal failure. Glass-only replacement may be possible when the frame and sash remain serviceable.
Broken glass
Photos help identify approximate size, pane count, damage and possible safety-glazing requirements.
Hardware
Handles, locks, operators, hinges, rollers, balances and latches can be assessed for repair or compatible replacement.
Screens
We repair existing screens and build new screens using measurements and product details.

VINYL HAIL-DAMAGE REPAIRS
Repairing hail damage to vinyl windows and doors
Hail commonly damages exposed vinyl components around windows and doors. Pitbull assesses the affected pieces individually so repairable components can be addressed without automatically replacing the complete unit.
Vinyl glazing stops
Impact can crack or break the removable vinyl stops that retain the glass. Compatibility, colour, profile and the condition of the surrounding sash must be checked before replacement.
Vinyl sash and frame components
Cracked, chipped or punctured vinyl on a sash or frame is assessed for extent, location, weather resistance and availability of a compatible component.
Screens, glass and exterior capping
The same storm may damage screen mesh, frames, insulating glass units (IGUs) or exterior aluminum capping. Each affected part is documented and scoped separately.
Repair or complete replacement
Component repair may be suitable when damage is isolated and compatible parts are available. Replacement may be recommended when structural areas, several components or weather seals are affected.
DIAGNOSIS
Drafts, moisture and water need careful assessment
Drafts
Air can come from weatherstripping, alignment, frame joints, installation gaps or nearby construction.
Condensation
Interior moisture can involve humidity and airflow; moisture between panes may indicate IGU seal failure.
Water concerns
The source may be the product, installation, flashing, cladding transition, sealant or surrounding building.

Repair when practical
A serviceable frame, available parts and an isolated failed component may support repair.
Replace when necessary
Extensive deterioration, multiple failures, unavailable parts or major configuration changes may make replacement more appropriate.
No automatic refusal
